You don't know me, you don't know my feelings, so how can you tell why I shouldn't be scared of death? I know death is a part of life. But if death is the end of all my existence, then it is the thing I most fear. Therefore I believe death is not the end of a person's existence.

I don't believe in infinite punishment. I always said eternal hell is a damnable doctrine. Hell is for repenting and then getting out of there, not for the sake of eternal sadistic torture.

As a humanistic atheist, I feel happy that I was smart and conscious enough to realize how horrid and contradictory religions are and to reject it before it had any adverse effect on my further education. It makes sense to assume that gods don't exist if there is no evidence for them.
