I guess Ronin and Kally aren't suffering, and one wonders why they laugh so, when so many millions are mourning and suffering. Thankfully Christian missionaries are plentiful.

Unthankfully, some of them don't realise that you can't eat a bible. You can piss on it, though.

Yes, and I wonder how many more 9/11 type events will have to occur before you believers realize what you have once again brought upon the innocents?

It was just an abstract question, Rad.

Based on what I know about Kally and Ronin, they both care about human suffering and are involved in alleviating it in practical, significant, ways.

If they want to dance when they come here, hey, that's fine with me...

take care

Would you let billions of people suffer for the actions of two people?

I think a better poll would be: Can you love the god of the bible who would let billions of people suffer for the actions of two people?

It certainly would be more relevant to a forum for General Religious Discussions.

Thanks Helen
We do both have jobs involving the worst suffering of humans, and we care about those people and do everything possible to help them. One thing we would never do is judge them to hell. Jesus said: "Judge not, lest you be judged. With what measure you mete, it will be measured back to you."

Ronin and I are not laughing at people suffering Rad, we are laughing at people like you who can't even answer a simple yes or no question. It's amazing.

Here is a sweet story of what Christian missionaries can accomplish. Black War TRY READING IT!

ybnormal,

Have you stopped beating your wife yet? Yes or No. Stop dancing around the question.

I continue to be fascinated that regarding any subject other than this one of people's personal beliefs, folks here are allowed, if not expected to pin others down with simple questions. The only error in Kally's post is that unfortunately, rationalizing IS working, in favor of xians who are allowed to do it as just another dance routine.
What dance routine? "Would you let billions of people suffer for the actions of two people?" Yes, I would. Why? Because "actions" is unspecified. What type of actions are we talking about here? Murder, free speech, buying candy? What type of suffering are we talking about? Higher gas prices, no electricity, no access to IIDB? If the OP wanted to limit the question to A&E, then it should have specified as such. I find it funny that some "freethinkers" have gotten upset that xians are willing to think outside the box. If the safety of the majority can justify the harm of a minority, then we atheists are in trouble.

I have nothing personal against Wildernesse either, however W's asserting your superiority exit from Kally and the thread's simple question is all too similar to W's since I'm full of nonsense exit from my simple question last week.
As opposed to Kally basically saying "I'm better then you, therefore you're wrong" was the height of intellectual debate. Not to mention that your entire problem with Wildy's comments on that other thread was that you didn't realize that she was being sarcastic.

Wildernesse's first response?
Was a made up bible verse. That thing on your face is an egg.

How sad..

Warning: Be careful what you say to an atheist married to an xian or one who has an xian girlfriend. They will always jump to defend their loved one, whether it makes any sense or not.

Take a look at the poll.. what does the majority say? I'll bet the majority are not xians.
