Listen pal, compromise with us means "do it our way and shut your pie hole". And if we decide that a meter equals a yard and that toddlers should be allowed to carry handguns, well you better just agree. If we decide that the months of the year should be renamed after American sports heroes, get ready to buy a new calendar. We are the greatest nation on earth, and I live in the greatest state in the greatest nation. At least Australians has the common decency to speak American. The French? They have a different word for EVERYTHING.....

The best reason I heard for this was 'if we have food we can help other people who don't, if a crisis happens'.

Stackin' cases of Spam and ammo while singing "Pass the Lord, and Praise the Ammunition!"

But I still would have liked to hear more serious discussion among Christians over where to draw the line between "God will take care of us if a crisis happens - of course!" and "Where is the nearest spam vendor?"

I thought "Be Prepared" was a xian motto?

Does anyone else here remember 7/7/1977? There were some folks worried about such an "unlucky" day - especially at 7:07 am and pm.

Someone once said <don't ask me who, I'm old and suffer from crs> "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Give a man religion and he'll die praying for a fish".
