Ah, you gotta love ChickenLittle! You know, taken the right way she's sort of a female fundamentalist Jerry Lewis character. Only scarier.

ChickenLittle says
Quote:
Does anyone know what Russian Orthodox Church teaches? And is that different or the same as Orthodox Christianity?
ROFL! This is someone who claims to know all about how bloodthirsty all Muslims are, based on her surfing of extremist Islam websites, but (a) doesn't even know the basics of what is the Russian Orthodox church, and (b) thinks there is a thing called "Orthodox Christianity". Shit, I know more about Christianity than she does!

Quote:
The Russian Orthodox Church is not known for its tolerance. If they gain more influence in Russia, Baptists are in for a bad time.
Quote:
It sounds like the Russian schools are becoming parochial schools of the Russian Orthodox Church which is very anti Protestant as well as anti Roman Catholic. The kids will probably be indoctrinated with Eastern Orthodox theology.
Can you feel the irony, brothas and sistas? Can you FEEL IT?

Quote:
The problem in the USA you would have in our schools would be a athiest or agnostic high school teacher teaching the Bible as a bunch of fairy tales.
The tortured grammar makes this difficult to follow, but the charitable interpretation is that the poster is not suggesting that this is what happens now, but what would happen if the "wrong sort" of religious education were allowed in schools.

Reply to her and say that a group with such pretty churches can't be all bad.

The ornate, the gold leaf, the icons, it's all so . . .heavenly.

Wow! I think my irony meter just blew a fuse! I guess in order to handle irony on the BB, I'll have to convert it to a log scale or something...

Hello,

Unfortunately, your recent registration application at BaptistBoard.com has been
declined.

Lol, was it that i put "An Agnostic" for a screen name or "Blackhearted" for the sign in name or was it because i didnt list favorite bible verses?

Baptistboard doesn't allow catholics, atheists, muslims, agnostics, pagans, etc. to register. It ruins their whole I'm-always-right theme.
