Isn't Socrates a self-proclaimed language expert? The Greek skeptikos takes precedence over the Latin scepticus, so I don't see what he's complaining about. Obviously another pathetic attempt to switch the focus.

From my experience, TheFiveSolas is the one mod not likely to abuse his power. (I've seen some very questionable calls by the other people moding TW's E/C.) It seems to have been an honest mistake.

And from the fact that he put back the text that wasn't breaking any rules, I'd have to agree. That place freaks me out. If Socretes is Sarfati, what is the deal with TheFiveSolas, Pilgrim, and the few other responsible moderators? Their character is one that clashes with a site that is being used by AIG. Are they playing good moderator/bad moderator?

I think the people who protect Socrates are above 5S and Pilgrim. Remember, since Pilgrim got transfered 5S is the only pure mod in E/C the other two are admins.

Boy, you're not kidding about them protecting SockRat. In the thread in Religion101, where I am tangling with Turkel, SockRat made a post that was pure goading. Nothing but slime. I reported the post early this morning, and nothing whatsoever has been done about it.

Posting at, and reading TheologyWeb is like rolling in the mud. I have to believe that confronting those creationists is seen by plenty of lurkers, that realize how much Holding and SockRat stink.

But of course, SockRat is NOT protected! A55 holas says so! And 'proves' this by mentioning the mere handful of times that he has had single words edited out of his posts.

I think we could possibly effect a change at TW by boycotting Turkel and SockRat.

If enough II'ers simply put SockRat on their ignore list, I think he might change his tune. He thrives from the attention, as does Turkel of course.

There are actually some really nice theist debaters over there. I think wienerdog and Socratism both can be really decent and civil. I enjoy reading their exchanges with others.

If I do return to TW, I will ignore SockRat. He doesn't deserve replies.

Of course, I needed to report that post because no moderator did anything about it. But then they go on to put more red in my post, which quoted his post. Socretes was told not to do it again and I get a whole bunch of red. Socretes defended himself in a PM by saying that it was on Hogan's Hereos and that germans like that show. What a jackass!
