Christians can afford to criticise and preach because they're sitting in the right side of the theological fence. That's the only reason they can poo-poo the evidence we've presented for a godless existance - because they know they're right, 100%, and that someday we're going to be crispy.

I dunno. Long before I converted, I poo-poo'd the alleged evidence from both sides; I still mostly do. 99% of the "evidence" people tell me about, I think is bullshit. The only reason for faith I've ever been impressed at all by is "My experiences lead me to believe that this is true". Purely subjective, purely personal, and really not subject to dispute.

The "evidence" for both sides is full of assumptions and dodges. There may be an exception, but I haven't seen it yet.

On page 1, Gemma tries the *cough* all-powerful, "Prove it" line against an assertion that there is no heaven (or hell, presumably). I'd ask Gemma to prove that there is, but that is pointless. The fact is that you can no more prove that heaven is than you can prove that it is NOT.

It would be "kind" of someone to deposit $1 million in my bank account, but I really don't think that's going to happen.

*waits and checks bank statement online*

Nope!
