Actually I would like to see the laws replaced with a test of some kind, allowing people to engage in sexual activities based purely on age is ridiculous.

Now, if you think "lumping homosexuals in the same boat as pedophiles" is equivalent to saying there is a connection between homosexuality and pedophilia, you and I have widely disparate ideas about the proper use of the language, possibly too much so to enable communication.
