Maybe Jon can correct me if I am wrong, but if the decay constant had significant alteration, I don't see how the discordia in concordia-discordia could possibly form unless the two distinct decay constants used in that method changed by the the same amount which seems rather unlikely. I suppose the Pb-Pb isochron method also would not work if decay constants changed. (For those who don't know what Pb-Pb isochrons are, they are a different kind of isochron from what is described in the T.O. Archive FAQ. It uses two distinct decay series.)
