Thumbs down

Wow Daniel, what happened to your initial argument? Oh I see, it got completely blown out of the water and so you have gone on to playing the victim, insulting some one for typos, and questioning ones guts for keeping there anonymity, then referring to a 1925 trial that occurred in a country that has consistently had problems with the separation of church and state. You have said a whole lot of nothing after your first three supposed 'holes' in evolution were filled. Can you not at least admit you were completely wrong?

PS Spenser is my real name. So what? Does this some how change the truth? If you want to play tough man why don't you do it by defending your ideology and DEBATE like the rest of us are here to do...

Up 'till now, I was unaware that theories could be stumped, or that decent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills were not necessary to perform well on the SAT.

On the other hand, perhaps there are extra points awarded on the examination for irony.

Dunno about Kuu, but I think it's incredibly stupid. W.J. Bryan may not be running around anymore, but there are lots of other criminals and weirdos out there.

I've worked in the IT field since '97 and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've used any portion of my real name in a public forum. It's just S.O.P. in this weird, wired world.

Perhaps he is not "Daniel Erickson", but knows one and would like to get him flamed....

not only that, but it just seems rather uncreative and boring to use one's given name. go to any forum on any subject, and the cast majority of people will not be using their own name. are they all "hiding"? i don't think so.

Not to mention born in 1949. Maybe he was a slow learner.

I agree Daniel seemed to have quite a chip on his shoulder, but re-read his OP in light of this later comment (emphasis added):

Well, goodbye. From now on I will stay off the forums (fora?) and stick with the articles. I am as much an infidel as any of you, but I am tired of the company of cowards who hide behind phony screen names.
Perhaps he came here trying to pick a fight (and given his behavior I rather think he was) but if we take him on his word, he's not a creationist and was asking about some things he perceived as problems with evolution. Too bad he made it clear he wasn't interested in any kind of discussion, he might have learned a thing or two.

I still don't understand the hang up with handles....has he ever been to a message board before? It's standard operating procedure for the most part.

People use screen names for various reasons. Some use them for anonymity which isn't totally unwarranted on the internet and has nothing to do with "guts". I use the screen name "Cowboy X" (or "CX" for short) because it started out as a joke (I used to use my given name) and just stuck. Even so I've never made a secret of my identity and most people who know me reasonably well here or have frequented my own forums at UNFACTS.ORG know that my name is Jimi Fosdick and that I live in the western suburbs of Chicago, etc. Furthermore the name one chooses to use on a discussion board has no relevance whatsoever to the validity of one's arguments.
