Why do you post on this board?
I'm just curious. Why do you read/post on General Religious Discussions?

Cause it is interesting...I've always been interested in theology and apologetics.

I think I am with Diadectes on this one. That and I often find the non-religious faulting the religious based on gross stereotypes (and vice versa, to be sure), and I like challenging them on those points.

I think this poll would be better designed as a "can select multiple options" poll. Also, it probably could use a few more options. That said...All of the above.

Can I say a combination of all of the above?
I've always been an atheist, but it was my girlfriends religious views that pushed me into finding a refuge where I could vent and say what I thought without being disrespectful to *her* as a person. Trust me, it's very trying when somebody comes out with things like " God loves you, even if you deny him " ... I also wanted to know how to explain my views a bit better; I was a bit worried I may sound like her by saying " well I just know some things " and bluffing my way through; I wanted some coherent and elegant explanations for the things I've been trying to say for some time. |

Also for the freedom of expression it allows. I posted the title "Moby Dick" on a Christian Board and it got posted as "Moby ****." Too Funny! |
