Believe? Believe is a rather odd word. I believe what I do because within my own little bubble of existance it seems rather sensible and intellent. However, a lot of times belief is based on what I have been taught to or have decided to believe, and I have simply never thought or needed to question it.

Great answer.Throughout our history (since the social contract)no one ever questioned the Why of belief.I am in the science section for a reason, but why we won't be told the truth is why we believe. No church, politician, teacher, sinner, saint or scientist wants to risk the status quo. (hint)You have almost found the code.Remember, why you believe may not be what you believe. Why you believe is only a mechanism. What you believe is an end.
