Default dendrites

Are you suggesting that we know how dendrites work? The theory is that it may be linked to photons which may have the ability to be in 2 places at once. This may be the key to our ability to react to a stimulus like fire by pulling the hand away before we "sense the pain". Therefore ,if this is correct, perception may be linked to reality, but pain makes it real.

Well slap my ass and call my Trudy. I thought that we reacted before we perceived because these reflexes are mediated in the spinal cord rather than the brain.

Whats between your finger and your spine ? Brain cells? Theyre called nerves just like you have .Stick around and learn then write me back the answer. Also the spine and brain stem were first and function autonomically.

So you think you know how the brain works eh?
The human brain consists of 2 main parts--a deep central part (fluid-brainstem-autonomic-first to develop) and the cerebral hemispheres. Each hemisphere is divided into various lobes. The temporal lobes -left and right. The left temporal lobe controls most language skills and some of your motor skills. Damage in this area(stroke or major head injury)produces difficulty with speech or some trouble moving or doing things (dyspraxia for you illiterate). The right temporal lobe remained a mystery, being complex and subtle at the same time. But (there has to be a BUT)as recently as a few decades ago it was linked to the persons interpretation of stimuli as well as with ones perception of reality and of him/her self.
Need I go on. You geniuses already know the rest. The point of this is that we have to look no further than our temporal ”ID “ to find the answer. The proof or evidence is statistical data which points to an incredibly coherent picture. First- people who have epilepsy seizures in the temporal lobe blah blah and so on-------- but you already know that so I may as well stop here. YOU already know where this is going.
Try not to assume things are as they appear and please not to use technical language to show superiority. There are plenty of places to vent your intellectual frustration(think of all those frustrated psychologists throughout the centuries).Try to illuminate if you have to use technical terms. Most people are lazy and don’t want to do the research. We are here to help each other. .We're not victims that have to condescend to others magnanimous intellect. That’s too christian an attitude. Christians always go for your weakness (usually internal pain or mistakes they call ‘sin’).I'm certain we are smart enough to figure out things that are a little skewed without worrying about form or grammar or spulling. It’s been proven that 94% of people are science illiterate so you have a larger audience if you keep it simple. Don’t assume that the 6 % remainder is comprised of all the scientific literates AND the atheists of the world. The object of life is that we have to help people understand- not kill them or drive them away because they are different. Convince them that it IS worth their while to stay and read your thoughts as well as all others by keeping it simple. I’m not trying to write a thesis and neither should you have to. When we exercise this “choice” we indulge in something called "othering- us and them". WE ALL have to learn to treat people ANTI-OPPRESSIVELY by SELF LOCATING our biases and privileges- then and only then can you “bring what you have to the table”.(like RONIN starting off open minded-then revealing his biases after I posted my “APOLOGY” using elenchus). The difference between US and anyone else is less than .001% genetically (via dna analysis). Between US and an aborigine or chinese (slightly different ancestry) or a man from central Kurdistan.(native or white or Black) our common "Y" chromosome originator. We're all the same...............period
Oh ,by the way if you want ,I can continue the story of the temporal lobes. It has a fascinating conclusion. Keep ‘em hanging I always say. Worked so far.

Brain cells, eh? Wouldn't a "brain cell" be found, well, in the brain? I think that it's "neurons" that you're after.

Gotta run...my spinal cord is getting hungry.

By all means, yes. I'm sure that you have fascinating insights into temporal lobe epilepsy and its sometimes profound distortion of normal thought processes.

Not in our cases, however...not here, not now, and you know it, I can tell.
