A field trip! Now there's an idea. I live just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, within easy striking distance of Glen Rose (Baugh's museum).

Any takers? Maybe this spring or summer? Maybe we could get some picture of all of us posing with Baugh himself. That would be too cool! I'll bring my digital camera and we can have the results posted on the internet immediately.

I've actually thought about making a camping trip up there sometimes. There's actually some real archaeological sites to see, after all.

Me, too. The tracks that are still in place in the riverbed are supposed to be more see-able in the fall, though, when the river is low. But that shouldn't matter for Baugh-baiting.

Damn! I knew ID was in trouble (something about total lack of empirical evidence, logical fallacy, etc), but I never realized they were in THIS much trouble. Somebody should write a book, like "ID: Theory in Crisis".

Well we did it once back in the mid 80's. The North Texas Skeptics lead by Ronnie J. Hastings, Ph.D. made a day trip there. This was right at the time that Baugh came up with the 65 million year old "human" tooth. Dr. Hastings had the information about the fish the tooth came from at the outing. The Abilene Reporter News had a big front page article about the tooth from the creationists point of view, i.e. one dentist claimed it "looked" like a human tooth. I tooke the information from Dr. Hastings to the newspaper editor who was responsible for the article but they wouldn't even print a single word against it being a "human" tooth.
