He seems to be one of those morons that "believes" what he "thinks", no matter how erroneous.
Wasn't there someone like him at ICR? I forget his nickname there, but he pretty much said he had disproved this and that (where this and that were quite mainstream and overwhelmingly accepted sciences) but when he was asked to prove it, a wave of bannings occured because the ICR board was for discussion and not "debate".

This is not the first time that Joe has willfully and flagrantly violated the rules (he before deleted a Moderator's comments and tried to pretend like the comments were never made), and was given adequate warning.

LMAO! Joe Meert, is that true? You deleted the moderator's comments from your post? You incorrigible scamp!

As a side note, the BOTCW board has a bunch of disillusioned creationist flotsam from Theology Web. Most of them seem to be sincere souls, even if they are long on scripture quoting and short on science education. They abandoned Theology Web as a group a few months ago because they were tired of Socrates, not because of evolutionists. There hasn't been any talk of Socrates = Sarfati so I don't think they are aware of it.

Hi Gallo,

What is "BOTCW?" I am fairly sure I don't have that one.

BTW, cute dog. I had to put mine down in January. The wife is way past droping hints about a new one. They are hard to replace.

I do have a problem with Joe's banning. In the thread in question, the one that got him banned, the guidelines state:

Quote:
This forum is for creationists only! Theists who believe that God, god or gods created the heavens and the earth. Whatever form OEC, YEC or whatever, including theistic evolution is welcome; however, you must be a theist to post here.
Note that it says for creationists only, but then goes on to include theistic evolutionists. I don't know Joe's exact beliefs, and it is none of my business, but he indicated that he was not an atheist. Therefore, the reason given for his banning, that he was intentionally posting in a creationist only forum against the rules, is invalid, unless he wrote that he was not a theist of any kind.

In response to someone (a Creationist) who wondered about Joe's banning and asked why his post wasn't just moved to another forum, Dee Dee wrote:

Quote:
Joe's post was not moved because his post indicated that he was aware of the rules and chose to post here instead. Additionally he was made aware of this forum's requirements by posts in the open science section. This section is current under a period of heavy moderation. This is not the first time that Joe has willfully and flagrantly violated the rules (he before deleted a Moderator's comments and tried to pretend like the comments were never made), and was given adequate warning. If you have any further concerns, please direct them to me by PM or in the appropriate forum.
Now, I would agree that calling Sarfati an egotistical bastard was pushing the rules a bit far, but I don't think they can stand behind the logic they used in banning him for the latest incident. But I never saw the post in question, so I am left to guess at the content.

Has your banned status changed recently? I swear I saw your name under the list of users browsing the Biology forum earlier today.

So did I. I saw it just a little while ago. Maybe they have been reading the thread here and had a change of heart.

I had an e-mail exchange with Dee-Dee. I explained that I had made an honest mistake and she agreed to reinstate me.

Cheers
