Buddhists may be happier, but blondes have more fun. Seriously, though, now I can read it....they seem to be saying that Buddhists are happier than 'other people.' WHAT other people? Everyone else? People in other religions? I didn't see anything about the brain scans of those other people. Just curious. |

More so than "average people" might have been more accurate. But if they limited the study to monks, I don't think one can logically surmise that buddhists as a whole are necessarily happier than others. Other devout religious practitioners could probably be shown to have similar traits.
