That all depends on whether or not people like Mr. Hovind continue to breed.

People like Mr. Hovind are devoted to a book that tells them a) to not satisfy their own urges, b) to not satisfy their urges with another person before marriage, c) to not satisfy their urges with persons of the same gender. They will be outbreeding everyone else. This is probably why 95% of the world accepts some form of theism... the theistic hypothalamus "warm and fuzzy feeling when I think about the invisible sky man" gene has been forcefully perpetuated as almost all religions tell their followers to breed like rabbits.

What we need is for a rich Wiccan to build a miniature Stonehenge on Hovinds' lawn during the night. Then when Kent complains, they can claim that they obey no law but their Goddess' and She told them to build there. See if Kent 'gets it' or not.

I'm betting on 'not'.

You know. I can understand that a fundy would oppose evolution and other modern thought and maybe even what they think is a reasonable position. I can put myself in their shoes, not that I agree, but I can see where they are coming from.

But this...

How stupid can a person be? Hovind's idiocy in this regard is beyond the pale. Doesn't he realize that he will lose. Not even the fundy lawmakers will help with this one because it is public endangerment.

Does that mean the $250,000 challange is no longer available?

No longer? I'm sure the IRS has dibs if that long-time tax evader Hovind had that kind of money to throw around.

Don't forget to pray for his lawyer...

Quote:
We praise God for sending us Maury Adkins to help us in the bewildering world of legalese. Please pray for him, as his health situation is not good. An old injury to his stomach in a car accident years ago has now become a cancerous hernia requiring special surgery in the next few weeks.

So write that email and tell them to keep up the good work! Maybe Hovind's "museum" can be shut down! good riddance!</strong>
Hovind's question:

"The question at issue is a simple one: Does the Escambia County, Florida civil government have jurisdiction over a Church of the Sovereign God of the universe? "

can be left unanswered until he proves by objective evidence that a sovereign god of the universe exists and has appointed Hovind as head of his church.
