I got your lousy wind right here, pal!

Hey! I like the sound of that. Can I change my nick to Lousy Wind? (j/k)

The worst bit is that they never even notice when they give offence with that line.
Yeah , they actually think they are doing you a huge favor with that. They probably "Well , I guess I can spare a few moments of my precious time for a selfobsessed , no good atheist. Man im so nice"

Somehow that line always ticks me off. I can't quite put my finger on it , but it just smells like incredibly arrogance.
They usually get the message when you reply to that with:

"And I'll think for you."

One of the last ones I heard was: "If you don't believe in Gawd, then what do you have to live for?"

A friend of mine was asked that question and responded with "I don't know...my massive heroin addiction?" I know it doesn't actually put a positive spin on atheism...but hell, the look on that street minister's face was priceless.

Except for when the police catch you and throw you in prison, you can do whatever you want. Be a carefree rapist murderer.

So what they're really saying is that THEY would rape murder steal if THEY didn't believe. And they want ME to become one of them?? :banghead: What's my motivation?

You hear all these testimonies. I drank, I drugged, I was a crack whore, and I stole a tractor trailer, but once I had found christ I gave it all up.

Well what about us who don't do all those things already? We are doing ok. Alot of scientologists swear that their life was a mess too, until that bizarre Xenu cult got ahold of them, I can take a pass on them as well.
