I'm going to paste it here until Google grabs it.

Edit: It's now on Google.

Why isn't this son of a bitch in jail, or at least deported (after all, he does claim to be a 'non-resident alien") ?

What's depressing is,this clown is the 'expert' on evolution that testified before the Arkansas legislature when they were planning on dumbing-down their science standards.

Cheers,

KC

No, that's funny. What's depressing is that so many senators didn't laugh at him and voted in favor of the bill.

At least, it's depressing if you life in the US and especially Arkansas. I, as a Canadian, find it hilarious.

<Overcome by a bout of 3rd-degree schadenfreude >

I'm sure that Hovind will just take it as proof that christians are being persecuted and the end-times are near. Some fundy group will no doubt bail his sorry ass out of debt before has has to go to jail.

I never fail to be amused, sometimes shocked, and often amazed, at the shennigans of "Dr." Dino. He reminds me of a saw-scaled viper (Echis species). When alarmed, they writh upon the ground, completely breaking their precieved outline, and rubbing their modified side scales together. This produces a remarkably loud, hissing rasp. Hovind is SO good at this.

Saw scales are small snakes, but have a particularly nasty bite. Catching them however, is easy enough if one knows what one's doing.

GOTCHA Kent!

Does this mean that he doesn't have $250,000? I guess I'll stop my work on his challenge. Damn, I thought his offer was on the up and up.

Unhappy

I also am continually amazed at the antics of this evangelist, and others as well. Normally, I'm an optimist when it comes to the human race. But when I see the people that follow these con men, blindly, I turn very pessimistic. It doesn't matter if they are cold ass busted with their hand in the proverbial cookie jar. People will still put their stock in these people. Such is the power of faith.

Notto, as I recall, the bread is being held by a wealthy, unnamed, friend, or so Hovind sez. The friend, if such exists, is very wise. If he'd just handed it to Kent, he'd never seen it again.

The 1/4 mil challenge has to be one of Kent's better efforts. Under it's ever-changing rules of evidence, not even God (assumning) could win it.

As a Christian, I have to object. God could, indeed, win that challenge. I don't believe anyone else could. However, God has the advantage of having been an eyewitness to the whole process, and can presumably turn this into an advantage.

I'm not entirely sure God could do it without at least one blatent and obvious miracle, however. That would be an impressive debate to watch.
