Vanderzyden:

Many here have read and studied the Bible - often from a believer's point of view. But to show you what your argument means to a non-believer, I'll pose a question to you.

Have you really read and studied the Q'ran and the Bhagavad Gita with an open mind? If not, how can you reject them?

And how would you know that, Starboy? Is that your opinion?

If you genuinely deny God, then why are you concerned about punishment?

That is a very terse response, X. In wonder, upon what firm basis are you so conident?

Have you consider that your presuppositions did not hinder you in obtaining the truth?

Because there are people out there psychopathic enough to believe we deserve it.

Vanderzyden:

I don't think most people here are concerned at all about punishment. I think it's just being used to show that a just and benevolent God and the doctrine of Hell are incompatible. It's basically being offered as another example of the inconsistencies that make it impossible for us to believe in the Christian God.

RJS:

I, and I believe others, make reference to God only for the sake of argument. I would also make references to Santa Clause if I were pointing out why his existence was impossible to believe.

C'mpn Vandy, entertain us. Do the one about how Juda's suicide by hanging and suicide by throwing himself off a cliff to burst on the rocks below is really the same account. That's my favoite.
