Yes, but I was referring to primary lung cancer (bronchoalveolar carcinoma, for example) that has metastasized to other sites. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't think there will ever be a cure for cancer. It's an intrinsic consequence of multicellularity and an active metabolism.

Well, I suppose abandoning this multicellularity business would be a kind of cure. I'd ask Henrietta Lacks, but she's in no condition to answer, and if she were, I'm pretty sure she'd reply that it wasn't worth it.
