Good point, but unless someone is prepared to say that children shouldn't be taught any values then I am rather struck by critics of Dobson's point. You may not perceive it as a "value" but many Christian parents do. And it is part of our responsibility to transmit values to our children. Which is not to say, of coure, that they may not reject them. I do think that, except for a few like many who have posted here, most children who are taught Christianity don't rebel against it but cling to it; many others do reject it in youthful rebellion and then return to the wisdom of their parents, as with many other things as we get older.

I agree with you to a great extent. Though I think it should still be aimed at teaching religious truths, I do wish it was more often formatted to address very real questions of the faith.

Religion is by definition a cult and vice versa.

Seeing topics like this makes me want to celebrate that I was able to save myself from the overrated product that is Christianity.
