everyone knows that god is a midget with a really small penis and this is why he needs the constant worship to inflate his ego. please note that god cant use his omnipotence to enlarge his penis or grow to a respectable 5 foot eleven inches because that would "go against his nature" tm and everyone knows he cant do things that violate his very nature, ask any apologist.

also his napoleon complex would explain the rages that he flies into. god is the ultimate abusive boyfriend and all the fundies put humanity in the role of abused spouse and think even worse that humanity deserves the abuse.

and I agree with eveyone else the god in the the bible is despicable and if the bible is real such a god is not worthy of my worship.

edited for clarity.

Of course, what this mysterious 'nature' entails is something that fundies can never agree on.

Magus55:
You apparently don't understand what free will is. It doesn't mean you wish it so, and poof it happens.

Magus55, what do you think it is?

God gave them over 100 years to use their free will to listen to him and avoid the judgement, then He let loose a disaster. They had the ability to choose Him or their sins, they chose their sins.

Allowing something to happen, and then complaining about it is childish and undignified.

Magus55, you can always convert to Islam and move to some strict Islamic country like Saudi Arabia or Iran. You may possibly get an opportunity to participate in a public stoning of an adulterer.

I know. And notice the characteristics of fundies who agree with this being. As an example:

Quote:
In ancient times, it did warrent the death penalty, It was a severe crime. Society has gotten sick and its common now.
Further evidence that the deity was fabricated.

I think I've broken this aspect of Magus' code - for god: "Can do anything at all that doesn't violate his (Yet to be defined) 'nature'."

For people: "Shit-all, subject to natural, supernatural, etc. restrictions."

And don't forget the killing of rape victims for reasons of 'honour'. :boohoo:

Exactly, that is why he should be held to higher standards, if he exists, because he makes the claim of being holy, loving (the important one) and perfect.

Would you allow members of the US Congress to get away with murder, simply because 'they made the laws, they can break them'? If not, WHY APPLY THESE DOUBLE STANDARDS TO YOUR DEITY?

That's awfully presumtuous of you. Just because I don't think adultery deserves the death penalty doesn't mean that I think I have a license to do it at random. Shoplifting doesn't carry the death penalty, yet I don't go out and shoplift.

Can we refrain from ad hominem in the future?

Also, explain these verses.

Is.27:4
"Fury is not in me."

Nah.1:2
"God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious."

I really can't believe that God is a loving God when he says it himself and then floods people and then turns around and says that he's fury and jealous, and then does the same thing in Part II. Can you explain these for me? Thanks.

Default I can explain those two verses

Did you ever think that these ancient people created this God character to justify their doing what they perceived as moral wrongs.

rape
slavery
killing

God did it so it is right and ok to do,and they done it.
