Cool article (but then again, I’m biased).

Living fossils = no evolution! /creationist silliness “The fossil also shows that the vertebral column and the limbs are not yet formed, and that the animal’s internal gills remain.” Huh. I thought all salamanders had external gills, whether as larvae or neotonic adults. Any Cryptobranchid experts around? Are internal gills the ancestral trait? |
