Post Should we reject the Septuagint?

In 2 Kings 2:23-25 in the Septuagint we find that two bears kill some 'micro paidarion' who have taunted the prophet of God, Elisha.

'Micro' means small.
'paidarion' is in the New Testament twice. In Matthew 11:16 (translated children) and in John 6:9 (translated lad or boy).

So 2 Kings 23 in the Septuagint appears to be talking about 'small children' or 'small boys'.

But I'm sure Christians on this forum have denied that the bears sent by God in 2 Kings 23 killed 'small boys' or 'little children'.

Are they rejecting the Septuagint when they do that?

Should we accept the Septuagint when it talks about bears killing little children, as King Arthur's favourite translator of the Septuagint puts it in <a http://www.ccel.org/b/brenton/lxx/f.rtf?
