Actually, I parallel your position with the rapist's as well as mine.

Given my oft-stated position on morality, how do you manage that?

Please explain what objection you have to my spelling my hometown any way I please. I am trying to maintain nothing. Or are you, perhaps, taking exception to the fact that I live in the same town as NPH? It is, I admit, outre to live in the same geographic location as one's partner, but many people find success with it.

Please in future confine your comments to any posts I may make on a thread, and not regarding any of my personal information on my profile.

Congratulations. You have proven the existance of a place called Parsippany. [/sarcasm]

As far as I can tell, if you are making a choice, so am I. You are simply describing my choice as "giving in" because you don't like the choice I've made.
------------------

I see nothing that indicates what you've done is make a choice. If it's a choice then it's no different from the position that one would hold not having made a choice.

I have made no objection.

Firstly, as you have hardly dealt with the topic of this thread at all, I don't think you're in a position to dictate anything.

Incidentally, have you looked at the line at the bottom of every message posted on this forum, including your own??

Well, morality appears to be subjective whether you think it is or not. So, I consider your morality as parallel with the rapist's as mine.

I'd like to quote something I said earlier:
Quote:
Uh, drawing the line below eating certain animals means that I am willing to eat certain animals. However, I do not object to certain people drawing a line above that point and accusing me of being immoral - from their perspective I am immoral. I'm just glad they aren't really in a position to do anything about it.
It's not that I want you to consider my position moral, I just want you to stop implying that it is irrational for me to consider my position moral.

Do not make off-topic comments regarding the personal information in my profile, and I will not feel compelled to demand an explanation.

incidentally bonduca as you seem to have nothing at all to say on this thread i dont see why you bother posting here and i guess the best thing to do is to stop responding to you until you start talking on the subject without the buckets of useless sarcasm.

I don't know about the first, but I guess it is irrational for you to consider that it is moral.
On appearance it seems just rationalisation.
