Of course, back in the 1600's the uniform spelling of words had yet to be invented. Such a luxoury wouldn't come around till the 1700s. They spelled things however they wanted back then. It makes manuscripts a bitch to read.

Slavery is also part of our national heritage. Almost all the founding fathers were slave owners. Should we go back to that?

On second thought, I better not point that out to the Southern Baptists. They just might go for it.

And a few of our founding fathers smoked cannabis. America is a cannabis smoking nation! We should have a marijuana leaf on our currency!
