Atheist Currency
I alter currency to read:
In God we trust not" Now it's Atheist currency making an Atheistic statement of disbelief and it includes them, just as they include me in their theistic statement, against my will, on my money. Yes, I am politically incorrect, alas.... Resistance is fertile. |

I regularly take a black sharpie through IGWT on all the bills in my wallet, and write E Pluribus Unum in nice red letters underneath. And a red pen is much handier than a rubber stamp anyway.
If anyone ever notices – don't think that's ever gonna happen – my response will be that I believe in removing McCarthyism from my money. Sounds good, and it's the truth. And of course we can go from there. Did some nice fresh 20's this evening, and a bunch of 1's. |

I'm not sure how much it helps, either. I do know the very presence of the IGWT infuriates me so much, I'm forced to take a marker to it. I guess it helps me, if nothing else..

It's only illegal if there's an attempt to defraud.

That's my take on it, but the Treasury Department may see things differently. You could ask the Treasury Department directly, but that might get you on Attorney General Asscough's shit list. |
