I don't understand what "probablistic determinism" is supposed to mean in this context. Either something is caused, or it isn't.

I think this means that there is some unexplainable randomness involved. (This could be due to "quantum entanglement" and actually be deterministic)

Anyway, about the two people -
If you made two cars that were identical, there are still two distinct cars. They occupy different places in space. You can refer to one or the other. They are identical copies, but there are TWO cars, not ONE. In the same way, if you copied a person, there would be TWO of them even though they would currently be identical.
