I've noticed that. Catholics can be nice. I would rather die alone in the gutter than marry a 'born again' fundie.

You'd best not get married if you can't let your spouse go somewhere alone for an hour or two. What are you going to do when they go to work??? Worry all day long every day? What if they have to stay late at the office? Are you going to suspect them of having an affair?

You can't live that way!

Anyway maybe it's hard to believe but there are some spouses out there who believe in not having affairs. Christian ones and nonChristian ones.

edited to add p.s. it was a joke??? oh, well, never mind then

By the way, I married a nice Catholic girl too. Well... maybe not nice.

She dropped all the beliefs earlier in life though... I think by college, it was over. Catholic school seemed to be the cause of her religious fall.

Atheist married to a fundie reminds me of my own father and mother, boy was that a mistake. She plotted to get him saved or leave him until the day she died. So, I may be slightly bias in my baggaged filled opinion.

<chuckles> From another former RC schoolgirl, it does seem that education precipitates the fall from faith. Stopping at "it's a mystery of the faith, you have to accept that it happens on faith" as the final explanation for too many questions just doesn't fly.

Yet another one lost to logic and reason,

I knew a girl who would only date christians. Then she became the 'big slut on campus' but only to those who were christian I suppose.

I don't try to turn anyone atheist/agnostic. I don't see the point. Believe what you want, live and let live..
