In other news, I'm taking a biblical lit class and we just covered the flood. This thread has been extremely informative. I'm also somewhat new to this evo forum.

I have a question related to the flood, and I hope it's not too simplistic. The icr.org page above deals with the extinction of the dinosaurs, at the end of the Cretaceous. What about the previous mass extinctions? Did they never happen or was the flood being tricky again?

I believe the ICR supports the view that all the "great extinctions" happened during the flood. In fact, I think the page linked to supports that incredible view.
