And one can ask about those who lived before Jesus Christ. Was everybody in the Old Testament sent to Hell simply because they lived before JC was born?

An omnipotent being would have no trouble revealing his/her/its message to every human being who ever lived -- and reveal it in unmistakable, unambiguous terms. That such a being needs to father itself as the son of a carpenter's girlfriend living in an out-of-the-way province of the Roman Empire is odd, to say the least.

However, Xtianity's spread is very typical of human inventions, which suggests very strongly that it is an invention and not a revelation.

And that's not the end of it; consider other planets, as Tom Paine had done in _Age of Reason_. Did Jesus Christ live for a while on every other inhabited planet? And did he seemingly die and rise from the dead on every single one of them?

From the Gospel According to Ban Chao:

"There are other Anointed Saviors speaking to people in all parts of the world, as I am speaking to you now. At this moment, across the land to the west, a man who is as much the Savior as I is telling his disciples the same thing I am telling you now. Likewise across the sea to the east, and in lands you have not yet heard of.

"In ages to come, the people of these many lands will meet, and they will share stories of their many Saviors. When you meet them, you will claim that I alone was the one, true Savior. But in time you and they will learn that each of these Saviors, my brothers, spoke these words I am now saying. And then they will know we are truly the Sons of God."

Except that it never happened. But it would have been cool if it had.

How about reading the information that's available? You might start with the Book.

So, if a Christian is sarcastic, does that prove he/she is not getting along ok? Or are they simply emulating Paul the Apostle's style? (according to the texts handed down)

Just having a bad day, I guess.

You're here because you're having a bad day? Christians are sarcastic because they are having a bad day? I'm not sure which question of mine that was an answer to?

I have read the b(B)ook. I must have missed the part that explained why god only had one offspring. Maybe you could point out the scripture that will enlighten me.

Thanks

I guess you weren't paying close attention (maybe you had the TV on).

God did not "have" any offspring. He "is" Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The Son is 'begotten" of the Father and is his exact representation Colosians 1:15.
He was not born, but is eternal with the Father and the Spirit.
Did you read the article by Jonathan Edwards that I recommended? If you really want to understand, it seems the least you could do.

I guess I must have missed your mention of a Jonathan Edwards article in this thread. Could you please point out where you suggested this? Also, where is this article to be found? Here at Sec Web?

Also, why can't god be father, son, daughter and holy spirit?

I'll be watching t.v. waiting for your answers.
