What boggles the mind is that even after stupidities like this, "Prophecy" remains one of the largest departments in Xtian bookstores.

That's because they can't wait to start watching all of us heathens writhing in hell!

The Orthodox Jewish preacher Amnon Yitzhak said in 1990 that "in a few years, the war of Gog and Magog will take place; Gog in letter-values is 12, referring to the 12 states of the Warsaw Pact, and they will do atomic warfare between themselves that will drag the whole world" (thus in his cassette "How to be saved from the War of Gog and Magog").

In 1991 the Warsaw Pact, together with its founder the Soviet Union, became history. But stupid people in Israel still listen to that lunatic preacher.

Holy mother of what's-his-name! You weren't born until 1955? Let's see, in 1955 I was graduating from college . Does that make me a matriarch or sumpin'?

As I keep saying, the end of the world has been coming for absolutely thousands of years. The end of the world being imminent predates Christianity by about 2000 years, I reckon.

Of course it's all bollocks, but some people like bollocks. Insert double entendre here.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!

I guess it still shocks me to think that people were born later than 1975, the year I was born. Plus, I really like saying HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!

It still puts me on the back foot when I realise that people born during the 80's can be adults now - I mean, come on! The 80's wasn't that long ago was it?? HELP!!
