Evil only exists in our conscious mind.
God is not part of our consious mind.
God is not part of evil.

Sin only exists in our conscious mind.
God is not part of our conscious mind.
God is not part of sin.

The law is needed for the conviction of sin.
All laws are made by religion.
Sin is a relious concept and has nothing to do with God.

I think this is a great question.

I mean, obviously no one tempted the devil. But why did he rebel? That's the question.

In thinking about God and the problem of evil, it makes sense to me that humans (Adam, specifically) are the cause of disorder and inappropriateness... but then I thought, "Adam disobeyed (partly) because a serpant induced him to. Who the hell induced the serpant!?"

Yeah, Satan, assuming he exists, is a bastard.

He means that God created religiousminded people. Because they were so religious minded, they were devoted to their non-christian religions. So they refused to reject them in favour of christianity. But man can be saved only through christ. Thus these too religious people are going to hell.
So God shot himself in the foot by creating men this way.

Here, I'll give an oar to this drifting boat.
"god" doesn't exist and evil doesn't exist (most of this discussion is based on assumptions of god) but for the sake of answering the question (who tempts the devil?) let's just go back to the source of this nonsense...the Christian bible. "god" tempted Satan to tempt Job. So, "god" can and does tempt the devil (according to the bible)...unless the bible is somehow...wrong/incorrect/containing errors?
