Your Choice of Death
If you were sentenced to death by the State and given one of two choices, as was Socretes, which would you choose ?
Socrates was given the choice of drinking a glass of hemlock or bannishment for life. Your choices are death by slow starvation or one minute in the gas chamber. Choose. |

Starvation. It gives me a few more weeks to live during which the governor might phone in his pardon following an outcry from the media.
If I had a third choice I would pick death from old age. |

Well, its a bit tricky. If the "banishment" senario means death by starvation with not chance of survival, then ill take the hemlock. However, otherwise, I would rather take the banishment senario because I could probably find someone who would take me in a feed me wherever I was banished to.

Now given a scenario of unavoidable slow and painful death against unavoidable quick and painful death I would like to change my answer. Unless one of these deaths has at least a humorous component to it or something... |

Is it a quick death in the gas chamber then ? Very wise of you. |

Decapitation. It'd be neat to live for a few seconds detached from the rest of my body.

Starvation, mos def.
Or course, I would curse my choice many, many times before I finally died, but that would be my choice. But, why the question? Just curiousity? |
