Thanks for your patience in explaining these things to me.
Conceived by God, John, as in essence precedes existence.

I told you before that the God idenitity was via Mary and not Joseph but that Mary was betrothed to Joseph for that reason.

Now all you need to know is what betrothed means in this context and you'll be OK with it.

Though we've drifted somewhat from the OP, I think the consensus is that the following core beliefs of Christianity were never mentioned in the OT as being qualities of the Messiah

1. Resurrection from the dead.

2. Ascent into heaven.

3. Being the son of god.

Given that absence, does anyone have an explanation for how the early Christians (or later ones, for that matter) accounted for the remarkable absence of these features in the OT Messiah prophecies?
