Yeah, the city of Richmond, Virginia exists today also.

Did an omnipotent god claim that Richmond would not be re-built? Because if he did he fucking got that one wrong, too.

Just like Tyre.

To the mods: do we really need to have yet another thread on this subject?
I did not write this for this forum. I wrote it for the GRD forum, but it was moved here (I dont know why). By the way If there were no other nations before Babylon building siege mounts against the island (Because it was not possible) then how was Nebby to do it? And why does Jeremiah have Tyre serving Babylon instead of being destroyed by Babylon? And Jeremiah did prophesy before Ezekiel. Isaiah also has Tyre returing to glory after a 70 year period. Isaiah also prophesied before Ezekiel. Why would Ezekiel write a prophecy contradicting Isaiah and Jeremiah? And if his prophecy failed why not rewrite it? And seeing that he knew that Nebby did not plunder Tyre could it be that starting in verse 12 which is about plundering Tyre he seperates the acts of Nebby by replacing he with they? It is clear by his knowledege of this fact that in verse 12 he ends the acts of Nebby which is under He by writing They. (This shows without a doubt that Ezekiel knew that Neby would not do all those things so he ends the acts of Neby in verse 11 changing he unto they that certainly agrees with his knoweledge that Nebby would not plunder Tyre. verse 12 begins with the plundering of Tyre and the transformation of the word he to they. This is hardcore evidence that Zek intent was to seperate the actions between Nebby and the other nations by his writing He and They.) And if Nebby was to destroy all of Tyre, why did Isaiah and Jeremiah both predict the opposite? And why would God have to bring the deep over Tyre if it was to be destroyed by Nebby? In chapter 27 God makes it supremely clear that Tyre will be destroyed by the seas with everything in it falling into the sea and not at the hands of any nation? How can this happen if it is like the top of a rock already destroyed by the nations? The evidence clearly shows that the nations would only diminish Tyre.

Critics says that the city Ushu or Old Tyre was independent of the island city. If this is true then why does Ezekiel say that the stones, wood, and dirt being laid in the water was that belonging to Tyre? It was the mainland city that was laid in the water. Ezekiel did not seperate the mainland city from the island city is the only answer. Can anyone answer these questions which has yet to be answered.

And by the way you can post those photos of the island city all you want. Chapter 27, Isaiah and Jeremiah all have the insland city inhabited to the very end that will be broken by the seas. Can any of you post the Mainland city? Ofcourse you can't......because it isn't there.

If President Bush was able to predict anything that he wanted to predict, and he wanted to convince Americans that he could predict the future, how long would it take him to convince at least 90% of Americans that he could predict the future?

If Micah had predicted that the messiah would rule a heavenly kindgom instead of an earthly kingdom like Micah misled the Jews to believe, and had predicted that the messiah would heal people, and that the messiah would be crucified, buried, and rise from the dead in three days, and that Pontius Pilate would become the Roman governor of Palestine, and that Herod would become the King of Judea, would there have been just as many disputes over who Jesus was?

You would still disbelieve. Tell me Johnny those Jews in the desert indeed ancient Israel, Knew that their God existed right? But yet rebelled against him, after all the signs and wonders. And prophecies like the restoration of Israel and the dispute over Jerusalem and land shows that there is a lot of truth to biblical prophecy I don't care what anybody say about that, Whats going on there is following a script written in the bible but yet people disregard this and say it aint nothing. The prophecy of Tyre (even when they misinterpret it stills comes awfully close to what Ezekiel wrote) The prophecies in Daniel, Jesus predictions cannot be denied, there is something going on. Revelations says there will be world government and look this reality is taking shape. These are miracles and signs and yet you still disbelieve. Jesus says it will be like the days of Noah before His return. He was not just talking about the extreme violence, He was talking about the disbelief and mocking that took place when Noah was building the Ark warning those that the judgement of God was coming. I will not allow myself to be deceived by silent or deceptive history regarding the existence of Jesus, the flood or whatever. Because what is happening at the present is a stronger case that supports the bible then that which seeks to disprove it (history). You won't to believe that Jesus did not exist or that the flood did not happen, Israel was never in Egypt, there was no Solomon or David because history (which is also subject to fabrications, lies, exaggerations, destruction, silence etc.) says so then that is your right. But the present events is not subject to such, and the present events do indeed back the bible. Seeing this, I do not measure the bible with secular history, I measure secular history...with the bible. It is the Word of God verses the word of man and me i'm going with the former, you? Well now we know that after 30 years, you have decided on the latter.

Please answer the questions. I will not answer your questions unless you show me the courtesy of anwering my questions. Why must you always try to control whose questions get answered?

What is God trying to accomplish by predicting the future?

I think your missing a point. It's not merely as simple as God stating Tyre would be destroyed as a mighty city/state. Apparently Tyre had broken a covenant with Israel and also the city of Tyre sought to take advantage of Israel when the city of Jerusalem was destroyed by Nebby. After all the prophecy wasn't so much against the walls and streets of Tyre as the rulers within the city. After Nebby laid seige to Tyre on the mainland for 13 years the majority of the princes of Tyre were exiled to Babylon. Nebby reduced mainland city of Tyre to rubble but unfortunately all of the wealth of the city was taken to the island stronghold where it remained until Alexander the Great destroyed it. How did he destroy it? By throwing the mainland city of Tyre into the sea to build the landbridge. No one is questioning that a city of Tyre exists today, it's just not the same commerical/superpower that existed thousands of years ago. You should also note in the picture that the ISLAND OF TYRE no longer exists.

Message to sugarhitman and arnoldo: If President Bush was able to predict anything that he wanted to predict, and he wanted to convince Americans that he could predict the future, how long would it take him to convince at least 90% of Americans that he could predict the future? Please directly answer the question.

Why does God predict the future? Please directly answer the question?
