Default Wow, just had an interesting situation.

I don't feel like typing it again, so I'm pasting the log.. it's not that long.. no fear.

---
MikeFornal (9:16:42 PM): holy fuck
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:16:48 PM): say what
MikeFornal (9:16:51 PM): thers somed ude pounding on my door trying to open it
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:16:58 PM): wow
MikeFornal (9:17:00 PM): wtfwtf
{ADDED IN: note how i manage to still talk on AIM while someone is trying to forcefully get in my home. how sad.}THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:17:07 PM): go yell at him
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:17:09 PM): from ur balcony
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:17:14 PM): so he can't hurt you
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:17:34 PM): then come back and tell me what it was all about
MikeFornal (9:32:13 PM): that was odd as hell
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:32:21 PM): what happened
MikeFornal (9:32:36 PM): well at first he came up and was knocking and jiggling the door trying to open it
MikeFornal (9:32:48 PM): and i looked out and he looked messed up (on something, i think)
MikeFornal (9:32:50 PM): and then he went away
MikeFornal (9:33:07 PM): so i was like 'that was weird' and i called my mommy and daddy so i could tell them the neat story
MikeFornal (9:33:28 PM): and then i hear my door moving again.. and hes trying to open the lock.. so i hangup and get to the door
MikeFornal (9:34:00 PM): and he messes with the lock for like three mins, but i cant tell if hes trying to pick it or unlock it with the wrong key.. and i totally have my knife in my hand watching him through the peep hole and holding the lock just incase he does get it
{ADDED IN: it's totally more like a mini-sword than a knife.. for the sake of visual detail.}
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:34:46 PM): why didn't you yell at him from the balcony
MikeFornal (9:34:55 PM): and then after getting tired of waiting for some kickass door flying open action scene to happen, i use the most manly voice i can to yelp out 'you're at the wrong fucking apartment' and he goes 'oh sorry sorry' and walks away quickly
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:35:05 PM): hahahha
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:35:13 PM): thats great
MikeFornal (9:35:14 PM): cause i didnt know his intentions so i didnt wanna be out there.
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:35:20 PM): ok
MikeFornal (9:35:33 PM): so, hes gone now, i guess. interesting stuff.
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:35:47 PM): well you were wanting something interesting to happen with your life
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:35:51 PM): and that was it
MikeFornal (9:36:06 PM): that was ALMOST it.. i got the adrenline kicking like crazy, knife in hand.. but the fucker didnt get the door open
MikeFornal (9:36:32 PM): i wasnt even shaking, i was kinda hoping he got it.. i weirdly wanted a situation to happen. i think i have issues
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:36:50 PM): no your just a boy
THEPERSONIWASTALKINGTO (9:37:06 PM): and you want to fight and kill and smear blood on your chest and scream in masculine victoriousness
MikeFornal (9:37:12 PM): hahaha
MikeFornal (9:37:28 PM): i think i just want to let out all my years of aggression from never attacking anyone with a knife
--

And I'm a dork, so for the sake of visuals!

All's well that ends well, thank the IPU, and I'm glad you're okay.

BTW I totally understand about the bloodthirsty-glee thing. Many's the night I've spent wondering what that noise is, and hoping it's an intruder so I can creatively fillet him. It's not just a boy thing.

(Some knife, btw.)

well, if that's a pic of you, I wouldn't want to mess with that mohawk. It could take an eye out.

That picture is hilarious - the mohawk just makes it perfect.

Now put that thing away before someone gets hurt!

Since you describe him as messed up, maybe he was also lost--thinking your place was his.

I'll make sure I'm extra-sober before I knock on your door!

Did you fix your hair up all special for the picture? I used to spend hours trying to help my son get his mohawk to stand up like that, and it'd just flop right over within minutes. (Looked kind of cool and rakish that way, though.)

Oh, also. Cool story. But let's talk about your hair now.

Haha, no I didn't do it for the picture, that's just how I wear it.
(well, away from work anyways... work = hat on)

I used to use gel.. but that stopped working long, long ago. Then I went to elmer's elementry glue. That worked pretty decent, but was messy and flaky. Then I found some awesome hairglue that works fantastic and isn't going to make my hair fall out, so naturally I use that now. Only takes about 5 minutes of being upside down to work, too!
