Didn't Max Weber also publish a book "proving" women are savages?

What book?

www.economyandsociety.org/events/Berger_paper.pdf

Weber was arguing that women are the civilisers, the educators, the savers

But this is off topic.

The Max Weber referred to is the 19th-20th century German sociologist, who was married to Marianne_Weber, an activist for women's rights.

Does your smilie represent your knowledge that the dead cannot sue for defamation?

What exactly are you talking about and why are you degrading this conversation?

Roger Pearse, what makes you so sure that Jesus mythicists are liars? ...
Apologetic projection?

Chaucer's essay against even thinking about mythicism has been split off here

The sum of $1,000 (U.S.) will be awarded to the author of a submitted essay which, in the opinion of the judges, sheds light on the origins of Christianity and, at the same time, supports the proposition that Jesus of Nazareth did not exist.
I give credit to the consortium for seeming to recognize that those two goals are somewhat exclusive from each other.

I don't think that the goals are exclusive, or that the language indicates that.

There are theories of the origins of Christianity in which Jesus plays a central role, and theories in which he plays a secondary role, and theories in which he is virtually absent.
