Default Becoming a mystic

I thought the following item which appeared in my in-box might amuse those of us sad souls accustomed to reading what people write, rather than what they *mean*:

>Hi, and thanks to the many people who
>suggested journal titles and/or distance-learning
>courses on Christian mysticism. The usual suspects
>were mentioned, of course, but so also were a
>number of gems that I had never come across before.

Is mysticism usually learned from someone else? By distance learning?

All the best,

Roger Pearse

Do they mean some other kind of distance learning besides sending e-mails?

If so... then why do they need to send e-mails??
