But it doesn't take on a totally different meaning. At its core it obviously still pertains in the gospels to Jesus' humanity, taking its cue in other words from conventional usage.

But then not in Galatians?? I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree on that.

Jesus was also called the Son of God.

Jesus in the NT was a God/man.

Once the NT is used as evidence, then all the evidence must be taken into consideration.

Once the NT is used as a source then this very source explains in some details the conception of Jesus, the offspring of the Holy Ghost.

There is no need to guess. We know how he was described.

The miracle reports make the tale unhistorical.
It is rather pathetic to see so many people thinking like christians. On this ground is it quite easy to disprove everything, but nothing will be explained. It looks like even mythicists think the figure said to have been crucified by Pontius Pilatus was at the origin of a new religion.

You know the meaning of son of god for a Jew, don't you?

Or are you still thinking like a christian...

And you are confusing the gospels and the rest of the nt... like any other christian.

Here is another interesting site. As you can see, it's not cut and dried. There is a sizable minority who do doubt a Jesus behind the gospels ever existed.

The best Jesus would be a fictional Jesus, as no one would be able to contradict such fiction with evidence.

That's exactly the case, is it not? There is far too much contradiction for the story to be historical.

No its actually absolutely 100% impossible. Jesus could not possibly be a fictional character. It contradicts Eusebius, the greatest and earliest of all historians of the "early christian church". If Jesus were fictional then Eusebius would just be a lying scumbag just like Joe Wallack says. And whats worse, billions of christians would have lived and died not with Jesus in their heart of hearts, but the fraudulemt misrepresentations of Eusebius. Such a solution is far too heartless to contemplate --- even for 14.75 picoseconds. Forget it. Convert and forget it.
