Oh well. I guess Jesus just doesn't care about most folks, since he refuses to send spiritual aid to the majority of mankind?
The exclusivity you mentioned earlier.

You may eschew the label, but your beliefs appear to be synonymous with what we call Calvinism.
Perhaps we both took our understanding from the same place.

Yes, we all know that evangelicals have a Paul fetish.
Since Paul wrote most of the NT, it is more accurately called a NT fetish.

Which doesn't preclude faith.

However, you are correct that unaided reason cannot "see" the kingdom of God.

He cared about the Jews (when he wept over Jerusalem), even though no spiritual aid was sent to them.

Yep. That's me.

Very interesting. That's a mistake rhutchin repeatedly made. I never said I was an atheist.
Nor did I say you were.

BTW: Atheists don't deny the existence of God

The Gehenna club is also exclusive.

Is this some game where purview is some sort of wild card?

Both of us know your are not limited. You present what the NT says applying it to argue against the claim that the Bible is logically inconsistent. You are debating. Your "Overcoming your objections is not my purview" is not believable, because we can see what you do page after page of the thread.
If anyone's objection is overcome, it is by the facts of the argument. If you choose not to accept what is presented, there is nothing more for me to do. That's where my purview ends.
Well so far because you have been debating you have not violated the board rules against preaching. If it is your claim that you are merely using contradictions as an opportuity to preach then you are violating the forum rules. Which is it?

Yes and no. Ge-Hinnom, the Valley of Hinnom, (commonly mistranslated as Gehenna) is currently a public park, open to all. So although it is extremely exclusive (in that nobody lives there), it is also quite egalitarian (in that all are free to visit.)

It's just outside the Old City of Jerusalem, down the hill from the Silwan neighborhood. It used to be the city garbage dump, stinking to high heaven, continually smoldering, and filled with worms, rats, and other scavengers.

BibleJesus was talking about being discarded as refuse, not about the Greek "hell."

I've got three drag queens, an ace, and a purview in the hole.

Besides that, based on marketshare, if there really is a hell, it will be a lot less exclusive than heaven*

*Depending on whether the Muslims were right, the Mormons were right, the Catholics were right, the Universalists were right, etc. My own fantasy notion of heaven only allows entrance to those were skeptical that it exists in the first place, as a reward for using the faculties we are born with (capacity for critical thought, curiosity, etc) and for not looking to some god to solve all of our problems for us.
