Children love to be read to by daddy. It is the responsibility of an adult to select age appropriate material.

Do the parents have no control over what manner of material their young child is exposed to?

I presume the child is quite young in that he is still being read to sleep.

The Levites (Λευίτης) are attendants of the altar of the known god of the Jews; the Simonians probably understood themselves to be attendants of the 'secret' god. Something like that. The communism associated with the early Christians (= Carpocratians) was probably justified in the tribe of Simeon not receiving a portion of land. The story of Simon on the cross might well have some deeper significance we are not aware of. It is interesting to speculate though.
Aaron did not make it.
He was a Prophet of God, and Moses deputy.

He would not have done that, not even if instigated.

Well obviously the Children of Israel were well known for killing, or even trying to kill, their Prophets.

A lie against a Prophet would look like a small misdemeanour for them.

So the Jews were so wicked that - for no particular reason - they decided to 'falsely' portray Aaron their first high priest as an idolater? Why?

To justify themselves:
"If a man so high could err, then the blame on us be less."

When the magicians of the court of Pharoah lay prostrate at been shown the truth, did they not say ...

We believe in "the Lord of Moses and Aaron", before the might of Pharoah.
