Walter Wink, Theologian and Author, Dies at 76

Those horrible Christians. I came across his name researching government archives related to Morton Smith. Apparently he did a search of whatever the US government had on,Smith

He was quoted in an article "Was Jesus Gay?" on Salon.com in 1998 (dead link <http://www.salon.com/feature/1998/04/cov_10feature.html> Wink also discredited Morton Smith's fragment, describing him as "a closeted gay -- due to his time period -- who became a bitter atheist...

Hence my frequent discussions of related topics here. It all comes down is the letter to theodore a reflection of ancient or modern "gayness"
