We have to remember that all historic Jesus theories are sensible, and all mythical theories are lunatic nonsense.

AFAIK, sassenach originally referred to us sissy lowland Scots. We just hijacked it to deflect highland scorn onto our southern neighbours.
Are you sure? I thought it was derived from "Saxon". The lowland Scots (of which I'm also one, BTW) were of Brythonic (West) and Anglic (East) origin.

Meanwhile, I'd just like to second Roster's statement: All hail (hail) Henrik, King of Kings and the one true Ghod!

Fact 1.
Crows, birds of the corvid family, have been shown by DNA studies to have originated in Australia and dispersed worldwide from there.

Fact 2. [or so I am informed]
A crow was released from the Ark by Noah.

Fact 3.
There is a city called Ararat in Australia.

Inescapable conclusion: Noah was an Aussie.

Maybe the "worldwide flood" was only a flood of Australia!

Did his work, then got drunk and naked. Maybe you're right!

No, I'm not sure, just one of those things I read somewhere and took on board without worrying about too much. The "saxon" connection sounds like it could be true, too.

And we could certainly do with the messiah returning sometimes soon. =/ I reckon it'll be a long time before we see a player like him in the Hoops again.

ETA: Wiki believes we're both right. Sassenach.
