I don't have a source, but I have read the theory that the "vinegar" offered to Jesus on the cross was actually a medicinal vinegar with a sedative or opiate of some kind in it.

Yes, I've read that theory, but I haven't read if there is any evidence behind it. The purpose of crucifixion seems to have been to have the victim die a painful, humiliating death. Why would the Romans palliate this with a sedative?

I see no respect there. We have extensive records of Roman crucifying criminals, especially political rebels.

You want me to be serious in reference to the issue of whether Jesus smoked cannabis?

*Edit* Does anyone know if it was Roman custom to break the legs of persons who were crucified in order to speed up their death?

No, I SERIOUSLY want you to provide a source for your claim that the Romans provided an opiate to dull the pain of people they crucified, a subject that you brought up.

Perhaps I misunderstood Paarsurrey but he feels that Yeshua was somehow medicated so he actually didn't die on the cross and survived. . .

That quote does not support your assertion. Muslims and some early Christians believed that Jesus did not die on the cross, but this was for supernatural reasons or because someone else took his place, or because Christ was a spirit who left Jesus' body on the cross. There is probably someone somewhere who thinks that Jesus survived the crucifixion because he was given drugs, but the question is - is this just speculation or is there some evidence for it? It might be true, but how do we know?
