The Greatest Story NEVER Told: The Truth about the Crucifixtion
http://www.taliyah.org/articles/crucifixion.shtml
This article is the ULTIMATE tool for Biblical criticism. It is by a Jewish scholar who converted to Islam. The author has mastery over several languages and comparative religion Scriptures (including dozens of Scriptures, like the Dead Sea Scrolls, and Books of Enoch) I highly recommend this article for anyone serious in debating the true nature of Christianity and the Truth behind the Crucifixtion. This article is very well researched and is in the preliminary stage before being released/published for the World to Witness-----River Please read, so we can discuss. |

It starts off by saying 'Some have propagated a racist myth that the `Arabic language calls "God" by the name "Allah" because this was allegedly the name of an `Arabic "moon god." This is a lie based on white racists Christian's hatred for Semitic peoples.'
What does this have to do with the crucifixion? The author continues 'In the same way he did not speak a word of error when he called Jesus Christ, the Messiah of God Almighty, "`Isa" rather than the pre-Qur'anic `Arabic name for him "Yasu" or "Yasua" as it is "Yashua" in Jesus' native Hebrew language. If your name is Joshua, (English for Jesus), and you wished to introduce yourself to an `Arabic speaker, you would say "Ana Yasua" (أنا يسوع) you would not say "Ana `Isa" (أنا عيسی). Joshua the son of Nun is called “Yasua ibn Nun NOT “`Isa ibn Nun. The Qur’an chose such terms deliberately, to subtly convey the TRUE history of Jesus, including the name he was known by when he returned to India after faking his death on the cross.' I don't understand. If Jesus would have called himself 'Yahsua', why was it not a mistake for Muhammad to avoid using the correct Arabic name for him? And what scrap of evidence do you have that he went to India, and came back calling himself 'Isa'? The author writes '"Isa" is the Tibetan, not `Arabic, name for Jesus.' Why would Muhammad suddenly call people by Tibetan names? The whole article is up to the high standards we have come to expect from Islamic scholarship. |

Actually, the really "juicy " parts of the article starts somewhere in pg. 30 + Secondly G-d ( not Muhammad [theres a difference]) have given very subtle hints in the Quran by the names that are chiseled in the Quran. The Quran uses the term " Issa" for Jesus which both Tibetans, and Kashmiris have been using as the name "Jesus" for thousands of years....this subtle hint is directing the attention of scholars towards the Eastern traditions of Jesus Christ and his Lost Travels. The Quran also calls, Prophet John the Baptist by the name " Yahya" despite the fact that the church has always called him " Johannes". Interestingly, the Sabians who claim to be associated with " John the Baptist" call him the name " Yahia Yuchanan". The intro to the paper is not directly related to the crucifixtion. It was placed there to make sure that the audience is on an equal plane as well as to remove negative stereotypes that exist about certain semitic religions. --River |

What is more likely - that Jesus traveled to India and Tibet and told them his real name while allowing everyone else to think of him as Jesus/Yeshua, or that Isa is derived from the Arabic pronunciation of the Greek Iesous, and Muslim travelers and missionaries spread that name along the Silk Road through India and Central Asia?
River - I don't see page numbers. How would I identify page 30 in that article? |

Actually theres remnants of Jesus' eastern name "Issa" in certain Bibles, I believe "Aramaic Matthew".....The truth is Jesus Christ carried a number of aliases after he faked his death ( i.e Issa, Isaar, Yus Asaf, Yeshua). Theres also the belief that since Jesus Christ was the last Messenger of the Israelites...he made an effort to unite the tribes of Israel....The Kashmiris have been believed to be part of the 10 lost tribes for some time... ....sorry about the page identification...I actually printed the article ...and it came out to 46 pages total.... ---River |

he undercuts his own non-pagan name claim by arguing out the hebrew name is pagan - which would be fine except allah is "the" G-d and a continuation of Abraham's G-d - which he just "proved" was tainted by pagan nomenclature.
at that point i gave up. 46 pages??? oy. |

Really you should read it. He paints a picture of Jesus Christ (pbuh) as not necessarily universally pacificistic..but something of a Revolutionary with over half of his 12 followers being of militant hebrew groups such as Siccari and Zealots....
Later he proves from the Bible that the Shroud of Turin is a hoax....and gives proof from the Bible and independent documents...that Jesus Christ did fake his death.......and continued his mission in Tibet and Kashmir. Believe me....This article is the ULTIMATE tool in Biblical Criticism. I promise that it is a good read....yes...its true..its a little bit long...but heck ...its worth it! ---River |

This is just one of many interesting facts found in the article:---River
From the outset, the fourth canonical Gospel opens with the infamous, yet plagerized, quote: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Allah and the Word was Allah." These are the very words of Rig Veda of India. In the beginning was Brahman [God] (Prajapatir vai idam asit) With whom was the Vak [Word] (Tasya vag dvitya asit) And the word is Brahman [God] (Vag vai paramam Brahma) The similarities between these two quotes are too close to possibly disregard. But far from the Gospel having influenced the writing of the Vedas, we know that the Vedas are among the most ancient of all world Scriptures. Clearly, these words found their way from the Vedas of India into the Gospel "according to" John. Many will ask, or rather they should ask, how can this be if the New Testament is the Word of God, written by Divine Inspiration? |

I think you're using the word "prove" very loosely here, but then the fact that the article is posted on a jihadist website somewhat undermines its objectivity. |

Let me get this strate, you think that Jesus faked his own death tried to start an uprising uniting the 12 tribes of Israel and then moved to India.
"After presented with what i am telling you there will be two options: One, admit that perhaps you were wrong about your interpretation of the Bible, and that you wrongly trusted the clergy, priests, Vatican and whoever else has concealed these truths from you. Or option two is that you can ignore what i have said and pretend never to have heard it. Imagine me as a demon whispering deceit in your ear. Just block it out completely. Don't even listen to it. Don't even take these questions to your Church, Sunday school, youth group, Young Life, or Christian school. Don't confront anyone with them demanding the answers that you deserve. If you refuse to change then this second option is your best one. Because i am telling you now, i have asked THOUSANDS of Christians these very questions in all of those places, and not one of them has devised a reasonable answer to date. " AND HES GETTING ON HIS HIGH HORSE ABOUT PREJUDICE!!!! |
