Aren't the epistles "apologia"? History is a bit an exaggerration.

I would like to point out two points:

1. Jesus never prophesized that Saul of Tarsus or Paul would someday would convert to Christianity and he would be Jesus' successor. Nowhere we find it in any Gospel.

2. Paul only made a general mention, never giving any particular names and antecedents/identification of the persons who saw Jesus ascension, not even one name. This seem is only a working of Paul's brain, for sure.

Thanks

The "not" dropped out. This is exactly my point, the epistles are NOT a history lesson, but encomia.
