Default Brahma

I believe there is a "Brahma" chicken (with a "pea" style comb...only for the roosters??) and a "Brahman" bull (e.g. humped or Zebu bull).

Are there other animals species or subspecies that have been named for Gods?

This is a crossover thread between ARP and E/C

this JC lizard looks fascinating.

I think juggernaut is more of a a simile than a name for (after??) anything.

Thumbs up Not exactly, but...

My patron goddess's name is Postverta. It's Latin for "turn backward." So I think it's cool that this butterfly's scientific name is Dynamine postverta (common name: four-spotted sailor).
