Which charities? How do you know they are "good"?

For $1.99 I will post my opinion on this thread. All the money will go to help poor Icelanders

When have you ever seen me "solicit"?

That you are motivated, in Ehrmans eyes, by profit, is my point.

Personally I find your ideas fascinating. I don't really care to what extent you are or are not motivated by money.

I don't see what's so terrible about Ehrman using his name to raise money for some very worthy charities. That seems to be the goal of this blog, not to "hide" anything. He doesn't make a cent off this for himself.

I was going to subscribe, but apparently there's no way to do it without a paypal account, and I don't trust paypal as far as I can throw it. I've had a paypal account hacked before.

Raising money for charity is a worthy goal, but charging people to read his response to criticisms of his work is not.

Default 1st Century Mark?

Ehrman's first post, though, is interesting. Does anyone have any new information on this alleged Mark fragment from the first century? Google yields a spurt of interest in February and nothing since.

There is a thread in this forum that you can read for free:

But there is no new information.
