I've read the entire book. Twice, actually. The problem with it (other than the obvious DSS problem, which we'll look at soon) is just how much *is* unsupported--this *is* consistent with Eisenman's approach. You start stacking speculations on speculations, and before you know it, you've forgotten how speculative the foundation was.

Show me some citations where he argues that the gospels are dependent on Josephus. In fact, do one better than that, and show one prior to his argument regarding the Christians as Essenes on p. 34, because if there isn't one before that, it's still poorly presented.

The Stampede beckons, I'll probably be away for the next couple weeks, as my time will alternate between working and being in a drunked stupor
